Dr. Jennifer Fuisz (she/her)
Associate Psychologist
IWe all need a space to find clarity in our lives—a place to regain our footing and move forward with confidence. That’s why I believe therapy is beneficial for everyone, myself included—yes, therapists go to therapy too! Having someone to help you reflect, recenter, and re-engage can make all the difference. I feel privileged to be that constant source of clarity and support for my clients, witnessing their growth and evolution throughout the therapeutic process.
Therapy is about understanding yourself and making clearer choices as you move forward. I can help you learn to identify your true feelings, understand how your thoughts lead to those feelings, and manage those thoughts to help you feel more confident in your choices. If you want to change the way you feel, you have to change the way you think and take action. I know that this is often easier said than done! I take a down-to-earth approach and have a unique ability to truly understand my clients, helping them gain new perspectives. I focus on fostering an environment where you can share things you normally wouldn’t dare share with others. Your perspective and intentions are what I want to focus on. If you want your views to be heard without feelings of guilt, shame, embarrassment, or fear of not being understood, I can provide that safe atmosphere for you.
My approach is integrative, combining a psychodynamic orientation with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I strive to create a warm and collaborative environment, focusing on understanding your inner world, recognizing your strengths, and valuing the unique factors that make you who you are. Life’s transitions—whether joyful or painful—can spark incredible growth when met with kindness, curiosity, and support. With decades of experience and a solid grounding in psychological theory, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, guiding you toward healing and personal growth.
